We have a large community of academic, research and support staff and postgraduate students, and an annual turnover of approximately £8 million support for research. Our research is grouped into the following four themes: Immune Regulation; Inflammation and Inflammatory Disease; Stem Cell Biology and Gene Regulation; and Bacterial Infections, Pathogenesis and Antibiotic Resistance.
Grace is in her third year of a four-year PhD programme. Prior to this she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol and studied for a Masters degree part time whilst working as a research technician at the University of Birmingham. Grace lives in a shared house in Selly Oak so can advise on housing and the local area. She is also the postgraduate social rep for the College so can provide information on social events and meeting other postgraduate students.
