Franco-Norwegian 3D Multimedia Technology Programme (MSc.3DMT)

Course Description

The 3D Multimedia Technology master programme has four semesters over two years.

S1 and S2 at University Jean Monnet, Saint-Etienne (Lyon area), France: Image processing and analysis, Data analysis and statistics, Design and analysis of algorithms, Color science, 3D Visualization and cross media reproduction, Computer vision, Coding and compression of media data, 3D-4D computer vision, 3D-4D project, Digital entrepreneurship, Pattern recognition
S3 at Gjovik University College, Norway: Advanced course in video processing, Content based indexing and retrieval, Advanced course in game technology, Developing for mobile platforms, Research project planning,Selected topics in color imaging, Information security
S4: Master Thesis Internship

Entry Requirements

Diploma prerequisite:BSc degree level (i.e. 180 ECTS) or equivalent, in physics, optics, imaging science, computer science or mathematics. International students have to hold a graduate diploma equivalent of a graduate level of 180 ECTS in the European system. Other entry criteria include: excellence of the candidate, English language ability and motivation.
