All of our programmes are modular and you can use IOE PGCE credits to contribute towards a Masters qualification in education. The IOE was recognised by Ofsted as outstanding or good with some outstanding features following their latest visit for its “high quality” teacher training that inspire its students “to want to be outstanding teachers”. In the Training and Development Agency for Schools Newly Qualified Teacher Survey (2010), 83 per cent of our NQTs rated the overall
quality of their training as good or very good.

If you're interested in teaching at Primary level, we offer Primary PGCE Full-time and Part-time programmes and French and Spanish specialisms. Alternatively, if you'd like to teach adults and young people aged 16+, we also offer Post-Compulsory PGCEs including specialist options for teaching English as a second or other language (ESOL) and Literacy, or Mathematics with Numeracy.
