This MSc programme builds on the success of our undergraduate Mechanical Engineering with Business Finance programme. The programme is designed to give graduates with a first degree in a relevant numerate subject the engineering, management and finance knowledge necessary to work on engineering projects and in business and finance.

About this degree

The core engineering content concentrates on areas of new and emerging technologies such as energy and robotics, combined with modules in both project management and financial markets and institutions. Students undertake two engineering projects (a group design project and an individual project) which integrate the knowledge acquired through the taught modules.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of an upper second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university in a suitable engineering subject, or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. Candidates with qualifications in other subjects allied to engineering wil be considered. Strong mathematical and some programming skills are recommended.
