This programme is aimed at educationally preparing nurses to become an advanced nurse practitioner (ANP) in a relevant area of specialist practice. Advanced nursing practice is carried out by autonomous, experienced practitioners who are competent, accountable and responsible for their own practice. This is a part-time degree, taking place over 2 calendar years. As well as modules, the students undertake clinical practicums where theory and clinical modules are applied directly to patient care.
