MSc International Relations

Course Description

The Graduate Programme - International Relations (MSc, MLitt, PhD) will equip graduates with the theoretical and methodological tools to analyse the workings of the contemporary international system. Course options cover areas such as theories of international relations (both analytical and normative), international security, globalisation and regionalisation. Advanced courses in qualitative and quantitative methods, provided by the UCD College of Human Sciences, prepare research students for the writing of their MLitt or PhD thesis. The programme allows for maximum flexibility and choice for students with a single common first year whether they are registered for MSc, MLitt or PhD.
