Polymer industry, which covers plastics, rubber and composite has emerged as the fastest growing industry. In Malaysia, it has achieved strong growth, averaging about 15 percent over the last 10 years due to the increase in new applications of plastics and the establishment of the local resin production industry. In order to meet the manpower and R&D demand of the industry, the Department of Polymer Engineering of the Faculty of Chemical and Natural Resources Engineering offers Master by taught course in Polymer Technology.
