MA Professional Enquiry

Course Description

The MA Professional Enquiry provides opportunities to gain a qualification at Masters level on a flexible, individualised, part-time programme that has been designed for busy practitioners and managers in a range of social professional settings. Participants in this programme (and the MA Professional Practice preceding it) include those from social work, housing, youth and community work, advice and guidance, counseling/therapy, early years, health services and nursing, community education, education support services, multi-agency settings, and from leadership and management positions across the statutory, voluntary/community, social enterprise and private sectors.

Entry Requirements

The programme has been developed collaboratively and is for managers and practitioners across a range of social professional settings, in the statutory, voluntary and community sectors. Applicants accepted to the programme will normally hold a degree or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. DipSW, JNC, teaching) and/or possess a minimum of two years related work experience. Non-standard entrance criteria (such as Diploma in Counselling, Personal Advisor Diploma, etc as highest qualification) and APEL (accreditation of prior learning) arrangements are also in place.
