The Master's (MSc) in Financial Management is designed for students from any background who are interested in moving into a career in finance. This programme in Financial Management combines the academic theory of finance with a strong practical perspective closely related to the world of finance, facilitating a sound understanding of finance and associated areas. Modules on the programme include: corporate finance, financial modelling, international financial markets, quantitative methodologies, and corporate governance and ethics. Financial Management graduates will also develop a sound understanding of the role and importance of accounting information in the financial management of complex organisations.

Expanded student social space: We provide a Junior Common Room (JCR) for all our undergraduate and postgraduate students to meet, relax and socialise. We also provide several group work rooms with presentation facilities for students to come together on group projects and practice team working or presentation skills.
The MSc Financial Management has been awarded the following ACCA exemptions:
F1 - Accountant in Business
F2 - Management Accounting
F3 - Financial Accounting
This means that graduates of our MSc Financial Management will be exempt from three out of nine of the ACCA ‘Fundamentals’ examinations. This means that students graduating from this programme can now leave Swansea as part-qualified accountants and just have to sit the remaining eleven.

The School of Management is dedicated to our students and we are passionate about student success in both academic excellence and involvement in student life.Our Developing Futures programme is more than a scholarship package, along with financial support for an academic year you will also get the chance to gain valuable career-enhancing skills. The entry requirements for the Financial Management programme is a 2.2 Honours degree or above in any subject. We consider all applications on their merits and will look at each individual case before making an offer so students who fall slightly short of the entry criteria should still apply to the School of Management. English language requirement IELTS 6.0 (minimum of 5.5 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.
