GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics and English at grade C or above. A diploma/foundation degree (FdSc/HND) in Marine Engineering/Navigation Science (or equivalent) plus at least two years work experience as a senior officer (2nd officer and above) or a relevant undergraduate degree or Portfolio accreditation of Accredited Prior Learning (APL) and relevant work experience. The minimum English language requirements for this course at NQF 6 and above is:Plymouth University requirement: IELTS (Academic) Postgraduate programmes (level 7) overall 6.5, minimum component scores 5.5 in all four components (listening, reading, speaking and writing).
