The course is designed and delivered by an industry-experienced team of academic staff, with an international focus attracting students from around the world. The course supports you in developing a broad range of professional, technical and transferable skills required by the industry. You gain the theoretical background, skills and experiences to become a successful leader in the hospitality industry.
The range of modules taken ensures you develop as a well-rounded and transnational manager, capable of achieving business objectives across cultures. You also take a module on research methods to support your masters dissertation research project.
You also choose an option module based on your personal interests and development plan. This is designed to provide an in-depth exploration and critical understanding of an area of the hospitality industry, such as:

-Managing the property asset.
The course also includes a range of learning methods to improve your knowledge and professional experience, such as guest lectures from industry experts, online and video technologies, field trips and live consultancy projects with real organisations.
The work experience route involves a 12 month work placement in the UK or overseas. During your placement you improve your practical management skills and employability, gaining real experience in industry. We help you secure a placement by running employability workshops and have dedicated placement team to support you. Past students have had placements with world leaders in hospitality including:

Other admission requirements
If you do not meet the above criteria you can apply for the Graduate Diploma in Business and English. After passing this diploma we automatically offer you a place on one of our business-related masters degrees.
Work Experience Route
If English is not your first language you will need an IELTS 6.5 score with a minimum of 5.5 in all skills or equivalent.
Non Work Experience Route
If English is not your first language you will need an IELTS 6.0 score with a minimum of 5.5 in all skills or equivalent.

Pre-sessional English course which will enable you to achieve an equivalent English score.
Normally an honours degree or recognised equivalent qualification. We welcome enquiries from people with substantial management experience but do not have the normal entry requirements. We may invite you for an interview to discuss your background, experience and qualifications. Through accreditation of prior learning (APL), you may be able to claim entry with credit or exemptions based on your existing qualifications, knowledge and experience.
