We designed the course in collaboration with industry and professionals. It equips you with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage construction projects to a high professional level. The course is flexible and adaptable to your needs and the needs of your business.
You gain a thorough understanding of the complex legal, financial, procedural and practical areas of managing construction projects. You learn to finish projects within time and cost constraints, and safety and quality guidelines, taking into account essential legal, personnel and environmental considerations.
The course is available full-time or part-time, so you can study as much or as little as your work commitments allow. It also gives you the chance to meet and share ideas and experiences with professionals from a wide range of national and international companies, from all levels of management.

Assessment: a combination of written examination and continuous assessment.
Minimum 2:2 degree or equivalent in a related discipline or a recognised professional qualification at corporate membership level. We also consider applicants with alternative qualifications or a combination of qualifications and relevant work experience. If English is not your first language you typically need an IELTS 6.0 score with a minimum of 5.5 in all other skills or equivalent. If your English language skill is currently below IELTS 6.0 we recommend you consider a Sheffield Hallam University Pre-sessional English course which will enable you to achieve an equivalent English score.
