With these staggering levels of growth, there is a huge demand for data-savvy professionals with the ability to analyze, communicate, and innovate in a data-centric economy. Simultaneously, the demand for conventional computing expertise (computer programming, product development, quality engineering, etc.) also continues to rise.

Entry Requirements

Applicants require a four-year Bachelor of Science in Computing Science degree (or equivalent in a quantitative field) with a minimum cumulative GPA equal to 70% (Please check with the program for country specific GPA requirements)

Candidates must also successfully complete a Programming test and technical interview. Contact for details about our programming test.

English Language proficiency (IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0; TOEFL iBT 80 with no band below 20)




Fees

Program fee $41,000 CDN (paid in four instalments: September 2024, January 2025, May 2025, September 2025)

All students are automatically considered for entrance scholarships up to $,2,500 CDN, awarded to exceptional candidates.

Eligibility

Saint Mary’s University in partnership with the Tribe Network are offering graduate students who self-identify as Black* or Indigenous** the opportunity to apply for a scholarship which will financially support the student’s internship position.

Recipients of the Tribe Network Graduate Scholarship and Internship will receive $10,000 annually (students can reapply) to reduce the costs of tuition and/or support student internship with an external partner (for example company’s, not-for-profits, etc.). Saint Mary’s University and the Tribe Network will assist graduate students with internship placements.
