Course Description

MSc Advanced Professional Practice (APP) Paediatric Musculoskeletal Health Pathway

This part time programme is open to all healthcare professionals with an interest in health in the paediatric population. Epidemiology including risk factors, and public health issues including nutrition and physical activity.

This is a specialised pathway of the MSc Advanced Professional Practice programme.

Course Overview

The Paediatric Musculoskeletal Health pathway includes the following:

• Musculoskeletal Health of the Neonate
• Musculoskeletal health of the Infant and Toddler
• Growth, Development and Nutrition

Entry Requirements

The Paediatric Musculoskeletal Health course is intended for healthcare professionals in professional practice, including clinicians, teachers and researchers. Applicants must have a recognised professional qualification in line with the admissions regulations. Credit for prior learning may be possible. Students who have successfully completed the PgCert Professional Development (Chiropractic) will be exempted from the Professional Clinical Practice unit. Admission is at the discretion of the Pathway Leader. Applicants for whom English is not their first language, must have IELTS (academic) 6.0.
