What is Language Technology? Language Technology (LT) is a research and development field with the eventual goal of enabling people to communicate with machines using natural communication skills. LT is an interdisciplinary field which covers subjects like computer science, linguistics, statistics and psychology.
Course description The aim of the programme is twofold. First, to graduate students with the necessary skills to manage Language Technology (LT) projects and develop LT solutions, and, second, to prepare students for a Ph.D. study in the field of LT.
B.Sc. degree in Computer Science (or a related area), or a B.A. degree in Linguistics.Students whose first language is not English are required to provide certifications of TOEFL scores or comparable tests. The TOEFL DI Code is 8825.
