The Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) is a general degree where students learn the important tools in business. Theory is taught, but the practical application of these theories is also emphasized. The program is offered evenings or online and is designed for students already employed who are interested in a solid, thorough graduate program in business from a university offers a range of electives where students can concentrate their studies in areas as diverse as health care management, hospitality management, among other areas. The curriculum is in two parts: core and electives. The M.B.A. program contains nine core courses and three elective courses. All students enrolled in the M.B.A. program take the same nine core requirements, which provide a common body of knowledge expected from all M.B.A. students who graduate from Sullivan University. Students may choose to concentrate electives in a narrow field of study like health care administration or hospitality management, or, alternatively, choose elective courses that suit their unique needs as long as they satisfy prerequisite courses, if any.

All applicants to Sullivan University’s graduate programs must be either in their final two quarters of classes in a bachelor’s degree program at Sullivan University or have an earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Candidates for admission to the graduate school must demonstrate proficiency in verbal, written, quantitative and critical reasoning skills.
