About This Masters Degree

Course Description

This study cycle aims at developing a programme in the area of sexology for health professionals and other graduates, developing investigative and study actions in the domain of sexual health, both in its clinical aspects - medical and psychological - and in the educative and socio-cultural ones. For that, we present a curriculum of theoretical contents, which, from a transdisciplinary perspective may:
- Give an ample vision of the diversity and complexity of human sexuality;
- Understand the neurobiological mechanisms that explain sexual function and dysfunction;
- Recognise the psychological implications of human sexuality, from a holistic and integrated point of view;

Entry Requirements

The following may apply for the Master's Degree: a) People who hold a B.A. or equivalent degree; b) People who hold a foreign academic degree awarded after a 1st study cycle organized according to the Bologna Process by a member state of that process; c) People who hold a foreign academic degree acknowledged as a degree satisfying the objectives of the graduate degree by the due body; d) People who have a school, scientific or professional curriculum acknowledged by the due body of ULHT certifying the capacity to obtain this study cycle.
