Master of Engineering Management (M.S.) - Maple Grove

Course Description

Program Overview

The Master of Engineering Management program has moved from the St. Cloud State University campus to Maple Grove, Minnesota starting fall semester 2012! This exciting move will allow our students unparalleled access to internships in the Twin Cities area. Students can live in the Twin Cities and attend courses at the Twin Cities Graduate Center. For more information on studying and living in the Twin Cities, please read the Twin Cities Graduate Center Community Guide. The Twin Cities Graduate Center is about 60 miles southeast of the city of St. Cloud and the SCSU campus.

The MEM is a special program that prepares engineers for managerial roles. The course content is suitable for engineers, technologists, and a wide spectrum of disciplines including, but not limited to, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, electrical, computer and software engineering, as well as chemistry, mathematics, physics, and related fields. The course draws on faculty expertise in the areas of quality engineering, project management and production, operations management, economics and administration.

The program meets the educational needs of both full students via flexible and varied delivery, responsive curriculum, a professionally qualified staff, an industry advisory council, and appropriate research and support activities.

Requirements and Details

The GRE is waived for applicants with a post-baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution from any country.
International students require a minimum TOEFL (iBT) score of 100 for unconditional admission. Students admitted with TOEFL scores between 79 and 99 may be required to do additional ESL (English as Second Language) courses.
Admission decisions are made throughout the year as completed application files are received. A student may start the program fall or spring semester.
International students

The MEM program will consider applicants seeking a language admission who provide a strong academic profile including submission of GRE scores.

Due to the advanced level of scholarship, the MEM program does not consider applicants seeking a conditional language admission.
