Course Description

Overview

Clinical Nurse Leaders (CNLs) are leaders in the health care delivery system who manage at the point of care, and assume an advanced generalist's clinical practical role. CNLs function within a microsystem and assume responsibility for healthcare outcomes for a specific group of clients through assimilation and application of research-based information to design, implement, and evaluate plans of care. CNLs are providers and managers of care and facilitate lateral integration of clinical services.

Entry Requirements

RN license in the U.S.Basic statistics courseBS degree in nursingGPA 3.0 on last 60 hrs in undergraduate nursing degreeGPA on 3.0 or higher in all prior graduate work
