An Increasingly important skill in the world of business, the ability to steer projects to a successful conclusion has become a key requirement for those looking to pursue higher positions within their field of expertise.
Through this online MSc programme we seek to equip you with the essential knowledge and key skills required to take your understanding of project management to the next level, and become a highly effective project manager.
The ability to drive projects will typically lead to involvement with product development, strategic partnership management, mergers, acquisitions and cultural event management.
Our teaching will explore a variety of tools and techniques throughout the project life-cycle in areas such as planning, effective communication and strategic thinking. The tools and relevant techniques you will discuss and study have been designed with practical application and career development in mind.
Each of the Roehampton Online masters programmes has been designed to help you move forward in your life and follows the same basic structure.
Every online programme is made up of seven modules and a research project. Every module lasts 12 weeks. You then have a break of approximately two weeks before resuming your studies. Your research project is much like a dissertation, in which all previous leaning culminates in an academic research paper. Modules equate to 20 academic credits while your research project carries 40 credits – but you have 26 weeks to complete that part of your programme.
“I have studied at a university in London and met others from different countries, but the impact was not as great as what I am experiencing with online learning. The interactive nature of learning at the University of Roehampton Online is a lot more effective, personal, and real.”
“I enjoy the flexibility I’ve found at the University of Roehampton Online. I can use whatever spare time available to me to concentrate on my studies, my homework, and my shared activities. It also means talking to the other colleagues to learn from their knowledge and share my knowledge with them.”
“I think the thing that stood out more than anything for Roehampton, was that somebody took the time to talk to me and took me through the application process.”
