MSc Data Analytics and Marketing (CIM)


Course Description

Today’s marketing leaders must be adept at sourcing, analysing and communicating data. Learning how to convert analysis into meaningful insights and strategic business recommendations is vital to your success in today’s data-driven marketing landscape. After studying this Master’s degree you will know how to leverage statistical processes to interpret and communicate large data sets and identify opportunities that are key in business today. You will also understand the critical role of data ethics in marketing.

As well as exploring a range of specialist marketing subjects, you will delve into the processes behind mining information from large complex databases. You will learn how this data can be manipulated to result in knowledge driven decisions. Developing the ability to create and manage strategic marketing plans, you will recognise the importance of data, globalisation and digital marketing.

What having the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) accreditation means

The MSc Data Analytics & Marketing has been approved by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) as mapping against its Diploma in Professional Marketing. This means that successful students may go on to submit the same assessments to the CIM for this professional body award. This accreditation is highly valued across the world.

This means that on graduation, you will be able to add even more value to your Masters qualification by gaining an additional CIM qualification for relatively little extra time and cost.
