Environmental Engineering

Course Description

This programme provides a suitable background for careers in environmental engineering, monitoring, management and consultancy, and it establishes a basis for interdisciplinary research to a higher level. Past graduates have found employment with a wide range of employers, eg environment regulatory agencies, civil engineering and specialist contractors as well as engineering and environmental consultancies in the UK, Ireland and abroad.

International Masters Scholarships - 20+ Awards

We will award £2,000 to those who achieve a 1st class honours degree and £1,000 to those with a 2(i) honours degree. If you are successful in achieving either of these and decide to study with us, you will receive the scholarship. There is no application process for these scholarships - students who meet the criteria will be identified automatically.

This scholarship is available to anyone living outside the EU, who achieves either a first class honours, or upper, second class honours degree in the relevant subject.

Application Procedure

There is no application procedure - you will be automatically selected once we receive information on your qualifications.

Entry Requirements

Minimum entry requirement is a 2.2 first degree in a relevant Engineering/Science discipline (eg Civil Engineering, Geology) with sufficient mathematical background (at least A-level, although undergraduate courses with a high mathematical content, eg statistics, can be acceptable). A 2.1 degree or higher is required for those with an insufficient mathematical background.Additional Information for International Students:Applicants for whom English is not their first language would normally require either: an IELTS score of 6.5 (5.5 in each element)or a TOEFL score of 575 (paper-based), or 90 (internet-based), or 65% in the INTO English Language Exit Test or an equivalent qualification.
