This Postgraduate Certificate is designed to provide postgraduate training in non-medical prescribing for pharmacists in Northern Ireland.

There are Six taught modules:

- Clinical Examination Skills and Patient Monitoring

- Developing a Treatment/Clinical Management Plan

- Disease Management

- Evidence-Based Practice and Clinical Governance

- Influences on Psychology of Prescribing

- Legal, Policy, Professional and Ethical Aspects

*Plus 12 days in-practice training with a designated medical practitioner.

Entry Requirements

A primary degree in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the University.Additionally all students must have:- 2-year post-registration experience - The support of their sponsoring organisation- Identified a designated medical practitioner prior to commencing the programme
