MA Politics

Course Description

The MA Politics offers a flexible degree, the main distinguishing feature of which is that the student can choose a mix of courses to suit their academic interests and/or future career or study plans. The programme aims to develop knowledge and understanding of the field of Politics, offering students a broad range of modules to achieve this end. It is characterised by flexibility and choice for students in the modules they can select. A sample of the modules students can choose includes: The Politics of Northern Ireland;Global Terrorism; International Security; Philosophy of Conflict and War; Issues in European Governance.

Entry Requirements

Normally a 2.1 Honours degree or above, or equivalent recognised qualification in a Social Sciences, Humanities or Arts subject, or a 2.1 Honours degree or above, or equivalent recognised qualification in any subject with relevant professional experience.
