Students will gain an in-depth learning of key aspects of HRM, for example design and implementation of award strategies; and design of successful employment involvement schemes.
The programme will have a detailed examination of key elements of strategic HRM. It will include a series of dedicated workshops to provide students with the practical skills in key areas of people management. The workshops will be delivered by experienced HR practitioners.
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) accreditation is currently being sought so that on completion of the programme graduates will have the underpinning knowledge required to apply for professional membership.
Undergraduate Honours degree, the equivalent of a UK Honours degree upper second class, in Business or Management or related discipline, from a suitably quality-assured university. Applicants with degrees in other disciplines may also be considered, provided business or management modules formed a substantial component of their undergraduate degree. International students must also have an IELTS score of 6.5 with not less than 5.5 in each of the four component elements of listening, reading, speaking, and writing, taken within the last 2 years; or an equivalent English language qualification.
