The programme brings together two highly-respected schools of Queen Mary, University of London. The School of Business and Management is rapidly building a strong reputation for a distinctive approach, in particular our focus on the inter-disciplinary nature of business and management. The School entered the RAE for the first time in 2008 with outstanding success, ranking joint 25th out of 90 Business Schools. This result is the highest ever recorded first-time entry.
The School of Economics and Finance contributes its huge knowledge of applied aspects of the financial market. The School of Economics and Finance is one of the top Economics schools in the country, ranked joint sixth in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise.

QMUL works closely with the Chevening - the UK government’s international scheme aimed at developing global leaders - to provide a large number of full scholarships for study on our one-year Masters courses.Every year QMUL hosts a large cohort of the 1500 Chevening Scholars who come to study at universities all over the UK. Value of Scholarship(s)
To be eligible for a Chevening Award you must: - Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country - Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your award has ended - Have an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry to a postgraduate programme at a UK university. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK - Have at least two years’ work experience - Meet the Chevening English language requirement by 13 July 2017
