3536.jpg What attracted you to Queen Mary? Why did you choose to do your course here?

While conducting my research about UK Universities, Queen Mary immediately stood out from the crowd due to its high rankings in different ranking tables and acclaimed reputation. Moreover, when I saw the website I felt that Queen Mary was a modern, vibrant and friendly University which I would confirm later on. Finally, I had the opportunity to get in touch with the MSc Coordinator and talk with her about the module’s functioning which I recommend everyone to do! This, put all cards in the table, approach was without doubt very helpful and insightful because you can match your expectations with what the course has to offer. And who better than to guide you than the MSc coordinator.

What do you enjoy most about the course?

The freedom to choose the modules you prefer, in the second term. Being able to tailor your own academic path was something that, unfortunately, I could not do in my BSc. This will improve your career prospects in case you want to diversify your options and also if you want to go deeper into your area of expertise.

What’s it like being a postgraduate student in London?

This question really depends on your personal profile. London is such a big and culturally diversified city that anyone can easily find its own space here. For instance, if you are a party-goer you will have a whole range of clubs down in central. On the other hand, if you are a really studious student, the library is open 24 hours and offers a whole range of different books, among other material, that you can use to improve your own knowledge about any subject. Bottom line, no one will be disappointed!
