LLM International Business Law


Course Description

The LLM in International Business Law offers a comprehensive range of modules relevant to international trade law, business law, competition law, corporate governance, intellectual property and market regulation.

To specialise in this area, you must select 90 credits of modules from this list and do your compulsory dissertation in the field of International Business Law (45 credits). The additional 45 credits of taught modules can be in this area or can be unrelated and therefore selected from the full list of LLM available modules.

The School of Law is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) to offer two jointly funded Chevening / Queen Mary LLM scholarships for September 2016 entry.The prestigious Chevening programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK. To be considered for a Chevening / Queen Mary LLM Scholarship, candidates must hold a conditional or unconditional offer from Queen Mary for one of the above LLM programmes.

LLM Scholarship: University of Lagos (UNILAG) - Single Award

The Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS), part of the School of Law at Queen Mary University of London, as part of long term collaboration with the Faculty of Law at the University of Lagos, a leading law school in Nigeria, is pleased to announce it will be offering one full LLM tuition fee scholarship to an exceptional law student at UNILAG to follow a CCLS-led LLM starting in September 2016. This will be the sixth year that this CCLS scholarship will be offered.Applicants are required to have achieved a minimum of 3.0 in their UNILAG law degree and must be currently at the Nigerian Law School studying for the Bar exam, with minimum IELTS 7 overall with 7 in writing or equivalent.University of Lagos students must have applied for the Queen Mary LLM programme by 15 April 2016 to be considered for the CCLS/UNILAG scholarship.The recipient will be selected by UNILAG.
