This postgraduate course is designed to meet the growing demands for professionals equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills and attitudes required to deal with the current food security challenges, such as:
• Almost one in eight people around the world are chronically undernourished; • Recurrent food price spikes; • Socio-political unrest; • Climate change; • Land degradation; • Scarcity of natural resources; and • Decline in rural communities and livelihoods.

2.2 honours degree or equivalent in a relevant science, humanities or business discipline; Applicants with at least two years’ relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis; International students require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
