Distance Learning

About this course

Two years by Distance Learning study with optional supporting tutorials. Two entry points each year (September and January). Virtual learning with individualised support.

If you are looking to develop yourself, and are keen to challenge and continually improve existing working practices, interact with others effectively, and show a commitment to on-going personal and professional development, then this programme gives you an unbeatable opportunity to drive your business, management and leadership potential to new heights.

The MBA degree is designed to anticipate the challenges that confront organisational leaders in the twenty-first century. You will explore the issues of how to lead ethically today, how to respond to uncertainty and plan strategically, in addition to confronting salient managerial problems. A key feature of the MBA is its emphasis on the development of your personal and professional development. The MBA will enable you the opportunity to investigate and report on a management issue of your own choice. You will also be given the opportunity to meet with leading organisational figures who will share their ideas on leading through change in turbulent times.

The programme is supported by an outstanding range of resources that include voice-based tutorials, group activities, a discussion board to share ideas, and individual support from experienced academics.

Visit the MBA page on the Northumbria University website for more details!

Entry Requirements

Candidates must normally possess an honours degree or a professional qualification, and have at least 2 years management experience. Exceptionally, candidates without these qualifications but who have significant work experience and can demonstrate the potential to meet the learning objectives of the programme, may also be admitted.
