This specialised postgraduate degree is designed and delivered in collaboration with leading marketing professionals and is highly geared towards the needs of the digital marketing industry.
The one-year course has been designed in line with the requirements of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing and its content reflects the very latest developments in the field, including location-based marketing, user experience, customer journey mapping and mobile marketing.
It focuses on the knowledge and skills you’ll need to be successful in modern marketing and you’ll build a portfolio of materials to present to future employers including created web content, video content, profile infographics, customer journey maps, campaign proposals and analytics.
The course offers the chance to complete a Masters’ consultancy project in place of a dissertation, and we’ll discuss that option with you towards the end of your first semester. You’ll also have the option to extend your studies by moving over to one of our two-year Digital Marketing MSc courses if you choose to.
You should hold a first degree in any discipline (the normal entry requirement is a honours degree, minimum lower second class), whilst others are welcome to apply because of their relevant work experience. You must have a clear commitment to a professional career in the marketing profession, particularly in its digital areas of application.
