Our pathway courses are designed for those looking for support to meet either the language or the academic subject entry requirements for postgraduate study. They bridge any gaps in your existing skills level and give you the confidence to progress onto Newcastle Business School’s Masters provision.
The Graduate Diploma course consists of 120 credits delivered over two semesters and the Graduate Certificate course consists of 60 credits delivered over one semester. The two courses share a common core of modules; a 40 credit Business and Management in Context module and a 20 credit Developing Academic Skills for Business and Management module, designed to support your development of academic skills for future studies at postgraduate level.
The course is covered by the prestigious AACSB accreditation for Newcastle Business School, which was ‘Business School of the Year’ at the Times Higher Education Awards 2015.
To study this course, you must meet the following criteria: A minimum of a pass or ordinary degree from a UK university or equivalent. Professional qualifications that are equivalent to an honours degree may also be acceptable Be aged 21 or over
