Are you looking to complement your undergraduate studies with a business-focused master’s degree that will enhance your employability? This course develops broad business skills while also offering a specialist pathway in entrepreneurship that starts after the first semester.
Specialist modules cover the process and practice of entrepreneurship as well contemporary issues in entrepreneurship. The course culminates in either a dissertation or, if you prefer, a master’s project.
The knowledge you gain will be valuable as a business owner or an employee in both start-ups and established organisations. Employers are keen to recruit people who can bring together resources to achieve break-through change and lead new initiatives.
There is no requirement to have studied business or entrepreneurship at undergraduate level.
The course is covered by the prestigious AACSB accreditation for Newcastle Business School, which was ‘Business School of the Year’ at The Times Higher Education Awards 2015.
The key selling points of the ‘Business with…’ cluster predominantly lie around giving students an extra edge in terms of employability and offering a business dimension to complement their UG specialism.
A first degree, equivalent to a 2.2 honours classification. Applicants who do not have such an academic qualification but do have substantial experience of working in a business organisation and/or possess a relevant professional qualification will also be considered.
Recipient: Northumbria University
