What's covered in the course?
Our course presents you with the opportunity to become a HRM practitioner by an accelerated route of over one year of full-time study. We will develop your knowledge and skills in HRM, both on a national and international level, and you’ll leave with the confidence and knowledge to succeed in a globally competitive environment.
You’ll benefit from relevant and up-to-date information on the industry from experienced practitioners who take part in a number of different role plays, and invited guest speakers from private and public sector organisations who describe their first-hand experience.,.
In order to meet the CIPD requirements for Associate Membership, you will complete a business report, undertaking a six week-long work-based project. The Business School has a placements office which helps to find suitable projects in UK organisations. Please note that there is no automatic level of membership if you exit on completion of the Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma. You will need to complete the full MSc in order to bank the knowledge required for Chartered Membership of CIPD.
An honours degree from a UK UniversityIf appropriate qualifications are not held then related work experience in management or HR could be considered by means of the Accreditation of Prior and Experiental Learning (APEL) procedure.
