Our International Master of Business Administration (MBA) course is perfect if you aspire to become successful in the field of business and management.
If you don’t possess any previous work experience, the course has been designed to help with your future employability and career development by providing many opportunities to develop your business and management skills and to experience ‘real world’ commercial settings as an integral part of your studies.
The broad nature of the course, as well as support from our expert team of lecturers, has seen our graduates move on to work with established companies including Rolls Royce and HSBC.
What's covered in the course?
The course will develop your practical competencies, such as your networking, communication and research skills.
We emphasise a practical approach, drawing on many case studies so you can examine the real-life situations international businesses face and the decisions you will have to make when working in a managerial position. We also focus on international business perspectives, recognising the changing international business environment and the need for future marketing managers to have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
Businesses are always looking to improve and stay relevant, so our course will teach you to critically examine and analyse the modern business world. You’ll study the impact of managers and leaders’ actions and how they affect business development.
You will learn crucial topics such as the role of culture within business, looking at how culture affects the strategies you make. You’ll also gain an understanding of advanced business theories, concepts and methods, critically evaluating their utility in practice.
The International MBA is challenging but will ensure you have the skills needed to appeal to employers. In the past, our successful graduates have progressed onto jobs as commercial directors and managers with the British Refugee Council and Prestige Systems.
