Course Description

This course has been co-created with global communications agency McCann Erickson, as well as a panel of other top digital advertising and marketing agencies, to build a vocational Master’s degree that gives students intensive, real-world experience.

Students will work on digital marketing campaigns, brand and product promotion, developing mobile and social media content and devising digital and video campaigns.

Students will be working from nine to five, four days per week for nine months in the Future Media Studio at Birmingham City University’s New Technology Institute. For the remaining three months they will be working with industry partners to professionalise their own expertise in their choice of specialism.

Course Structure

Future Media: Pro takes place over the course of 12 months. Students are split into two groups specialising in project management, strategy, technical and analytics (MSc) or creativity, design and innovative asset development disciplines (MA).
