Course Overview

Our E-Business (Information Systems) MSc will build on your existing computing-related studies to develop advanced e-business skills. You will learn how to excel using both the technical and business elements of e-business in any function of a company, from Internet operations to internal systems and even your own venture.

The E-Business (Information Systems) MSc is delivered by two world-class Schools at Newcastle: The Newcastle University Business School and the School of Computing Science.

E-business success combines leading technologies, long-term business strategies, entrepreneurial capacity to implement strategies through technology and the alignment of peoples' behaviour inside and outside the organisation.

Entry Requirements

Normally a 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in a discipline with computing content, such as: computing science, software engineering, systems engineering, electronic engineering or mathematics. To study this course you need to meet our Band 6 English Language requirements: Direct Entry: IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.0 in all sub-skills) If you have lower English Language scores, you may be accepted onto a Pre-sessional English Language course.
