AIMS This degree programme aims to enable the practising midwife to study a postgraduate degree pathway which has been planned by the student themselves and which reflects academic and professional development needs in line with the usual requirements for postgraduate level study. The open framework structure aims to facilitate pathway specialisation where possible and if desired.
Pre-requisites: A good honours degree (2:2 or above) in midwifery or a related subject areaBe working as a midwife or have recent nursing experience (within one year)Hold an acceptable recognisable professional qualification in the UK or in your own countryExceptionally, students who do not have a degree but who have successfully completed level 7 CPD modules or who can provide evidence of their ability to pursue successfully the PG Diploma or MSc may be consideredApplicants residing outside the EU are only eligilble to apply to study this course full-time
