This programme offers you an opportunity to develop the ability to strategically plan and instigate marketing activity, whilst considering the profitable development of a company.
You will explore fashion consumers and the marketing function within the international fashion context across retail, print media and online environments. The course cultivates analytical and managerial skills that will allow you to become highly employable upon completion. You will study the methods of international fashion marketing and its incorporation in the structure and dynamics of the global fashion supply chain. Study visits to international trade fairs and fashion capitals offer exciting research opportunities to support course content.
You will study fashion marketing, marketing management, marketing analytics, project management, product development, supply chain management, budgeting and financial management and research methods. Your study will culminate in a dissertation.
This course will normally admit students with a good UK honours degree or international equivalent in a design or business related discipline. It is designed to allow students with a keen interest in the apparel industry to acquire a postgraduate qualification in a specific fashion business area.
