Overview
This world-class degree delivers a flexible, career-oriented and relevant postgraduate business education in a range of disciplines. It is highly practical, designed to meet employer needs and provides graduates with the capabilities for careers in the professions.

Choose either one or two specialisations from Accounting, Business Management and Organisations, Corporate Governance, Economics, Finance, Financial Crime and Governance, Human Resource Management or Marketing. A wide range of electives are available to broaden or deepen knowledge.

Internships: Earn credit towards the completion of your degree through a supervised workplace internship. Students who have completed one semester of postgraduate study can apply to take a supervised workplace internship in their second semester of study for credit. Internship numbers are limited and competitive! Partnerships are arranged on a best fit basis, where the needs of the organisation and the student are carefully matched and compared. You will work under the guidance of a workplace mentor and are supported by an Internship Advisor from the University. The unit, BUS880 Business Internship will help set your degree apart as you gain real-life work experience. This unit will require you to complete 150 workplace hours and a number of academic assessments.

Course Duration
- 2 year program
Bachelor degree in any discipline.

- 1.5 year program
Bachelor degree or Graduate Certificate in a relevant discipline;
Bachelor degree in any discipline and work experience (minimum 3 years full-time) in relevant area;
Bachelor degree in any discipline and the completion of a significant number of commerce or business units or an accredited qualification from a relevant professional institute such as:
Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA)
CPA Australia
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

- 1 year program
Honours, Graduate Diploma or Masters in relevant discipline;
Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline and work experience (minimum three years full-time) in a relevant area.

- Relevant disciplines
Qualifications within a Business / Commerce discipline (such as Marketing, Advertising, Sales, International Business, Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance).

- Relevant areas
Professional work experience includes roles requiring technical or specialist expertise or managerial / decision making functions with a broad knowledge or skills in key concepts or principles in marketing and/or business.

English language requirements
IELTS of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent

All applicants for undergraduate or postgraduate coursework studies at Macquarie University are required to provide evidence of proficiency in English.
