This degree will provide skills in basic and advanced assessment strategies, rehabilitation and habilitation of the hearing impaired, and the non-medical management of hearing impairment and related pathologies. You will also gain skills in research design with an optional project and an awareness of client management strategies.
With this degree, you will acquire the necessary skills to join the profession of audiology and practice in a variety of employment settings. Clinical training is provided as a formal part of the program with cooperation from audiological institutions.
The basic admission requirement is a recognised Bachelor degree with a strong academic record (minimum credit average) plus a 1-2 page Personal Statement. There are no prerequisite subjects for this degree. Spaces are limited and entry is competitive. IELTS 7.0 is required. Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee a place in the program.
