Master of Commerce in Information Systems and Technology

Course Description

The aim of this postgraduate degree is to provide graduate students with a breadth and depth of knowledge and skills in information systems and information technology sufficient to operate effectively at a professional level in a wide range of organisational structures. More specifically, the program is provided for students who seek a business perspective in their study of information systems and technology rather than a computer science perspective. The degree is available to students with or without a business oriented IS/IT background, however students with limited business and IS/IT units in a prior degree will be required to complete a preliminary program to build foundation skills.

The award of MCom in Information Systems and Technology requires the completion of eight postgraduate units.

Entry Requirements

Business related Bachelor degree from a recognised university with a GPA of at least 2.70 out of 4.00. English proficiency is required (IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 580).
