MBA Milan-Paris Luxury Brand Management


Course Description

The international level and trilingual approach of the Luxury MBA Milan-Paris gives students the essential skills and knowledge to be able to assume an executive role in luxury management anywhere in the world. Starting with a global vision of the luxury sector and moving onto an in-depth analysis of the two systems which dictate all the rules in the luxury market - France and Italy - the course leads students to understand the complex meanings and mechanisms that govern luxury management, so that they are fully prepared to face the world of work as well-rounded and global professionals. A combination of theoretical lectures and practical experiences together with visits and seminars, all taught by current working professionals, guarantees direct contact with the managerial world of luxury throughout the course and ensures that students learn the best and most up-to-date methods and
techniques straight from the people who use them on a day to-day basis.
Internship
In order to validate the MBA course, and in any case to ensure a comprehensive and beneficial training experience, students are required to complete a 6-month internship at a company within the luxury sector. The internship can take place in any country, and students can either find one for themselves or take advantage of the services offered by the careers office at Accademia del Lusso or Mod’Art International, who will provide students with assistance in choosing a suitable internship opportunity. At the end of the internship, which forms part of the final assessment, students will have to present a positive evaluation of their work written by the company where they conducted the internship, and also prepare a report of the experience which they will hand in together with the final thesis at the end of the course.

The Luxury MBA Milan-Paris offers successful students the opportunity to pursue a wide range of roles in luxury brand management worldwide. Potential roles include:
Product Manager, Project Manager, Brand Manager, Sales Manager.

› 1st term (29th Sept 2014 - 19th Dec 2014) Accademia del Lusso in Milan, Italy
› 2nd term (12th Jan 2015 - 10th April 2015) Mod’Art International in Paris, France
› Handing in of written thesis (by 31st May 2015) Milan or Paris (student’s choice)
› Oral thesis presentation (mid-June 2015) Milan or Paris (student’s choice)
› 6-month internship necessary to validate
MBA qualification (to be completed by 30th Nov 2015) at industry-related companies at the location of your choice
› Final Award Ceremony (by 15th Dec 2015) Mod’Art International in Paris, France

Qualification
Students who have successfully completed the MBA course and the 6-month internship and who have been accepted by Perpignan
University, will be awarded a French Bac+5 Mod’Art-Perpignan as well as a professional certificate from Accademia del Lusso-Mod’Art. Those who have successfully completed the MBA course and the 6-month internship and who have not been accepted by Perpignan University, will be awarded a professional certificate from Accademia del Lusso-Mod’Art.

Entry Requirements

› Minimum 4 years of university study (pleaseenquire if you have any specific questions regardingentry requirements).› Evidence (formal certificate) of English languageability equivalent to level B1 on theCEFR. If not in possession of a formal certificate,a telephone or skype interview can bearranged to verify each applicant’s ability.
