MSc European Public Health

Course Description

Are you interested in why European health guidelines work in one country but not another? What systems and approaches will improve health both domestically and Europe wide? Do you have a fascination with the EU? Then European Public Health could be just the programme for you.

Beyond borders
The search for best practices is a key and unique part of European Public Health in Maastricht: nowhere else in Europe can you follow a programme like this. The programme provides you with the background and skills to analyse public health systems throughout Europe, and to prepare, support and monitor high-level decision-making processes in European institutions, in government, and in public and private organisations.

Why study European Public Health in Maastricht?
Innovative and unique programme in its Europe-focused approach to public health and healthcare policies.
You will acquire skills needed to look across borders and learn from practices elsewhere. Opportunity for a 10-week internship at a selected health or research institute in Europe.

Entry Requirements

1. a bachelor's degree issued by a Dutch or non-Dutch university in a relevant domain, e.g. health sciences, biomedical sciences, medicine, movement sciences, biology, psychology, european studies; 2.2. a bachelor's degree issued by an Institute of Higher Vocational Education or University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands (240 ECTS), Belgium, Germany, Austria or Switzerland (180 ECTS) in a relevant domain. Please note that additional requirements could apply depending on your nationality, educational background, etc.
