Comparative Literature and Cultural Semiotics

Course Description

This interdisciplinary programme at the Estonian Institute of Humanities integrates Comparative Literature and Cultural Semiotics. The curriculum is run in co-operation with colleagues from the Baltic Film and Media School, the Institute of Estonian Language and Literature, the Institute of Germanic and Romance Languages and Cultures, and the Institute of Slavonic Languages and Cultures. It benefits from close connections with the Estonian Semiotics Repository, including the archives of Juri Lotman, the collection that offers unique opportunities for research.
