This course is the Gold standard in QCF level 7 training for those wishing to become a careers guidance professional.
This programme develops the theoretical underpinning and the practice of career guidance. Most students will take the Qualification in Careers Guidance (QCG); the nationally recognised professional qualification awarded by the Institute of Career Guidance (ICG), alongside the PgDip.
The one or two year programme provides you with the capability to work with adults and young people in the wide range of settings in which career guidance is practiced.
This course comprises of six core modules to be completed over one or two years. Each module is structured around a 13 week programme of blended- learning, with access to on-line learning materials, work-based learning activities, with attendance on Fridays 10am – 4pm.
There are nine career, education and guidance postgraduate modules available as accredited CPD. These modules can be studied as stand-alone CPD or can be built to complete a qualification such as the PgDip Career Guidance with QCG.
