•Choice of September and January start dates
•Strong emphasis on developing the skills and knowledge required for entry into a successful career in international business management
•Innovative learning and teaching approaches applying theoretical concepts through contemporary business simulations
•Study in Liverpool, a key city for international business and trade, placing you and your studies within a truly global commercial setting

MSc Management is designed to provide you with theoretical and practical perspectives on business and management issues, and to equip you to prosper within today’s dynamic business environment.

We use business simulations, at both operational and strategic levels, to provide immediate feedback on decisions you have applied and provide scope for detailed discussions on effective problem solving within different realistic and practical contexts.

The programme consists of a blend of core and option modules. Our approach is interdisciplinary, where the synergies and interdependencies between areas of business and management can be activity explored.

The programme is structured to allow you to study different aspects of business and management in parallel. For example, in Semester 1 modules will engage you in learning about management theory and practice and the management of finance in the overall economic context and the journey from establishing a strategic vision to implementing policies to achieve those goals.

As you progress into Semester 2, learning and associated competencies progress to a more strategic level. You will also have the opportunity to select areas for deeper study through option modules and preparation for research.

The final stage of your programme is the research project or dissertation, where you will work with the guidance of a supervisor to prepare, execute and complete a significant research project in a field of business/management of your choice.
