Leeds Trinity University offers Professional Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) (FHEQ Level 6) initial teacher training courses in a number of subject areas. PGCE students are also registered to study for a Postgraduate Certificate in Education qualification (PGCert) (FHEQ Level 7).
The Leeds Trinity PGCE Primary (5–11) QTS is a professionally oriented programme that enables you to engage with a wide range of educational issues. It is designed to develop the teaching and learning role through reflective practice.

Normal entry requirement for the Primary PGCE is an honours degree at 2ii or above in any national curriculum or relevant subject , GCSE English, Maths and Science at grade C or above. In order to be able to fulfil the requirements of the course you will need to be able to demonstrate prior experience/ knowledge of work/work experience/voluntary work in a primary setting.
