Advanced Clinical Practice

Course Description

Developed in collaboration with professional health and social care organisations in the UK, this programme is designed for nurses intending to study at an advanced level to increase their knowledge, skills and attributes thus contributing to modern health and social care. The modern NHS and the extended role of the professional requires a flexible, autonomous professional practitioner able to use complex decision making skills with a wide knowledge base. The programme enhances knowledge of physiological and pathophysiological processes which, together with social and psychological phenomena, underlie health and disease.
