Following a number of high profile media scandals, corporate governance is high on the agenda for organisations around the world, with corporations increasingly expected to be transparent and fair. This course will give you the skills to influence strategic decision making, understand risk control and ethical considerations when it comes to leadership and managing relationships with investors and key stakeholders.
You will develop your understanding of general management theory, challenge current modes of thinking and generate new ideas to improve your professional practice. You'll gain a highly specialised set of board-level leadership skills, enabling you to recognise, analyse and, ultimately, influence the factors governing corporate affairs.
The fast-track delivery of this course will allow you to study efficiently over an intense two-week study block at our University. You will then be suitably supported during the distance learning element of thecourse that follows.

Develop an understanding of the current issues in corporate governance facing directors and senior executive managers, and the role the board and directors play in ensuring effective, ethical and good governance practice.
Managing Corporate & Stakeholder Relationships (all modes)
Address stakeholder management in a critical and integrated way by developing and addressing theory, values and techniques for engaging stakeholders. You'll also learn how stakeholder management relates to corporate responsibility, governance and leadership.
The Implementation of Strategic Change (full-time and part-time only)
Gain knowledge, understanding and an awareness of contemporary approaches to strategic implementation and change management, and explore how these might be effectively employed for sustaining success.
